🚀Checker Node TL;DR
KIP Protocol utilises a multi-node architecture to maintain network integrity and ensure components remain available for interaction . A special class of nodes are the Checker Nodes, which perform crucial verification operations behind the scenes, enabling users to be confident that the AI services they request will be provided promptly and at the price specified. In a centralized system, the organisational hierarchy can perform this function. In a decentralized system, however, incentives must be offered to encourage participants to check on each other, thereby ensuring a high-quality service for all users.
By distributing verification tasks across multiple Checker Nodes, no single point of failure exists that could compromise the network. The system achieves robustness through consensus-based checking. Should issues arise, nodes work in tandem to rectify problems and maintain uninterrupted AI service quality.
The Checker Node License is an ERC-721 non-fungible token (NFT) that represents authorization to operate a verification node on the KIP Protocol network. Possession of a valid License NFT is required to participate in transaction validation and receive rewards/fees. Up to 20% of the $KAI total token supply will be distributed to Checkers.
In summary, KIP Protocol's Checker Node infrastructure plays a vital, behind-the-scenes role in validating activity and safeguarding the network's functions. This multi-node validation process establishes the backbone for a trustworthy, high-performing decentralized ecosystem.
